We’ll provide face-to-face sessions with a counsellor who’ll help you develop practical and positive ways to manage your thoughts and behaviours and improve your overall state of mind.
Online self-help programmes
Our safe and secure online programme SilverCloud offers effective, supportive programmes for a range of mental and behavioural health issues such as anxiety, depression and stress. The content is designed to be motivational, easy to use, and relevant to your situation.
Personal and professional coaching
We can connect you with a coach who will work with you to define what you're aiming to achieve and then develop a practical plan together to bring it to life. Our personal and professional coaching is delivered as a series of sessions over the phone or via Skype.
We've teamed up with Relate to offer relationship and family counselling (including for children over 12 years old), to help you through life's ups and downs together. We're also able to offer sex therapy if you're experiencing difficulties in your love life. Strong relationships take work. It isn't always easy but you can start today by calling CABA.
Telephone friendship service
If you’re aged 60 and over and feeling lonely or isolated, we can introduce you to a befriender through our parternship with Age UK. You can chat, swap stories and spend time on the phone each week. Call us on +44 (0) 1788 556 366 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
Dealing with a bereavement can be challenging. We're here to help. We can offer financial support in the form of a funeral grant and if you need someone to turn to we can also provide free telephone support with our partner Cruse, the UK's largest bereavement charity.

Our digital mental health and wellbeing platform gives free, confidential online counselling for students and young people aged 11-25. There’s access to professionally trained counsellors, peer-to-peer support, mood-tracking, live, moderated forums and self-help tools designed to help you make positive changes to your life.

Are your services means tested?
Most of CABA's services are not means tested, however, we will consider someone’s income if financial assistance is required.
I am an accountant, but not a member of ICAEW, can you still help?
Our services are available to past and present ICAEW members, their carers and their families.
CABA has supported me in the past; will I be able to receive support from CABA again?
We understand that circumstances change. If you have received advice and support from us in the past there are no time limits or restrictions preventing you from receiving support from us again.
